Will my Screen
Name appear on my profile? Will my last
name?
Your
AsianFriends.com user name does not appear on
your profile - it is for your eyes only. You
need your user name to login to AsianFriends.com
so that the system will recognize you. Your last
name and all other info marked with the 'lock'
icon is for administration only and will not
appear on your AsianFriends.com
profile.

|
My email
address has my entire real name in it, what
should I do?
We recommend you
open an additional email account with a free
email service (such as hotmail, yahoo etc.).
There you can sign up with a 'screen name' and
keep your AsianFriends.com correspondence
separate and private.
|
|
|
Will my contact
details be revealed to other members?
Your contact
details will only be visible to another
AsianFriends.com member if you select them to be
sent with an outgoing AsianFriends.com message.
The details will not all be sent, but rather
only the one's you select, by marking the
relevant checkbox next to that specific detail.
In other words, you can send your email address
without sending your phone number even though
you have submitted it to
AsianFriends.com.

|
|
Is my email
address automatically sent with a
AsianFriends.com message?
Your email
address is not automatically attached to
outgoing AsianFriends.com messages. In order to
send a member your personal email address, you
must mark the checkbox next to the icon (left
side of message box) when sending your
message.
|
|
|
Is it a good
idea to send my phone number or email to
members?
Even if a
member's profile looks really appealing,
remember you still don't know much about them.
Start out by writing back and forth on
AsianFriends.com to get a feeling of the other
member.
|
|
|
What should I
do if I receive an inappropriate or offensive
message or photo?
If you received
a message that seems inappropriate or you just
feel you'd like to stay clear of the specific
member who wrote it, you have the option to
click on 'Block Member' at the bottom of the his
or her profile. By doing so, you prevent this
member from contacting you via AsianFriends.com
in the future.
If you feel the member's behavior is extreme
and could be harmful, please contact us and
include all the details regarding the member and
what they wrote.
